 Ricardo Guevara Bringas is a corporate Attorney-at-Law admitted to the Bar of Lima after he was admitted to the Bar of Paris. He concentrates his practice in foreign investments, migratory, company law, M&A, contract and real estate.
Mr. Guevara Bringas has assisted European, U.S. and Peruvian corporations and individual investors in a variety of business sectors, including textile, spirits and wine, energy and the food industry in Peru, France and Argentina.
Mr. Guevara Bringas has recently participated in transactions such as:
- Legal assistance to foreign companies and entrepreneurs related to the creation and implementation of commercial companies in Peru in various fields such as textile, services, and the food industry. His duties included company and labor issues, immigration, and tax assistance.
- Legal assistance to a French/Swiss company in the food industry in relation to the acquisition of industrial assets and the starting of the factory.
- Legal assistance to an international freight forwarding French company relating to the drafting and the negotiation of an international agency agreement with a Peruvian company and to a debt recovery procedure.
- Legal assistance to a Peruvian public company in the spirits and wine sector in relation to antitrust litigation.
- Assistance and legal co-ordination in connection with a sale of assets contemplated by the foreign subsidiary of a multinational company within the food industry sector.
- Assistance and legal co-ordination in relation to international acquisitions and restructurings, notably relating to the purchase of shares and assets implemented by the Latin American subsidiaries of a multinational company.
- Legal assistance to a French public company relating to the set up of a joint venture company with a foreign corporation in order to develop, operate and obtain stakes in renewable energy projects in France and Great Britain. His duties included:
- drafting and negotiating of a shareholders’ agreement.

- drafting and negotiating of put and call options agreements.
- Legal assistance to a French public company within the retail industry relating to the set up of a joint venture company with a local corporation in Uruguay.
